Brian White

Real Estate Agent

Brian White got his start in agricultural at 16 years old when he convinced his folks to turn over a portion of their Hopland Valley ranch so that he could plant his first 15 acres of vines. There was no vineyard consulting company pointing the way telling him what or how to plant. Instead, Brian sought the advice of the surrounding old time grape growers. He was taught to approach farming more from a holistic angle than a empirically scientific angle – steering a course dictated more by natures indicators than laboratory reports.

Brian’s initial venture proved a success wherein he continued to plant more acres each while simultaneously attending Cal State Chico and earning a degree in Marketing. Since his early days, Brian has expanded his own personal vineyard operations to 100’s of acres in Mendocino and Sonoma counties. Sought out for his no non-sense approach to farming and his fiscal prowess in making the same make sense, he earned a solid reputation in the Industry. What really stands out about Brian is his uncanny ability to network with a wide arrange of players in the Industry and take what would otherwise be a failure and make it a success. A lot of the time in Ag it is less about the product than it is about who you know and how you are perceived. Straight talking year after year has given Brian that kind of reputation that fosters success where others would fail.

In tandem with Brian’s farming endeavors, he has also been involved the sales of Ag Solution Masters for the last 20 plus years. Ag Solution Masters mixes water with gypsum, potassium and fertilizers that is then directly injected into an irrigation system. This has exposed Brian to a multitude of diverse agricultural endeavors throughout California. Never one to rest, Brian took his knowledge of livestock rearing and partnered up with Cowboys Choice feeds, which produces and markets an almond based complete and supplemental feed for horses and other livestock. This latter operation is still in its infancy but is proving successful.
In 2022, Brian joined California Outdoor Properties as a Ranch Agent. Though he spent a lifetime buying and selling agricultural land for himself this was first venture into doing it for others. Brian has already had extensive experience in evaluating large tracts of timber ground, vineyards, high end recreational ranches, bank owned ag properties, etc. with all the multitude of issues arising from these types of transactions. CCA marks his turn to more the commercial side of these transactions.
For fun, Brian raises AQHA horses, team ropes and hunts when given the chance.

Redwood 1’s 3,750 acres, located in the coastal mountain range between Mendocino’s Anderson Valley and the coastal town of Elk, presents the rare opportunity to invest in a substantial, productive and sustainable native tree farm.  Forest assets of this caliber are few and far between and are usually traded quietly amongst the conglomerates that dominate California’s redwood and fir market.
